Anniversary Cake

It is a long-standing tradition to save the top tier of a wedding cake for the one-year anniversary. However, due to the nature of how cakes are baked now a days (no more fruit cakes as wedding cakes), it isn’t ideal to hold a wedding cake in the freezer for a year. Issues with brown or black outs are common in our region. Not storing the cake tier properly and it suffering from freezer burn is also common. Also, ingredients that go in a wedding cake may not hold up properly in a freezer for a year (different ingredients have different shelf lives). All these factors come in to play but for the sake of tradition you are welcome to place an order for a mini cake (top tier) and have it freshly baked for your one year anniversary.
